What can you make with this tool?

Compare Unicode message effects with WhatsApp-style formatting wrappers.

Try it with your own text

  1. Enter Hello World in the main text field.
  2. Compare Normal, Bold, Monospace, None, Stars.
  3. Use the Copy button beside your chosen result, then paste it into the field where you need it.

What should you check before copying?

Formatting wrappers and decorative Unicode are separate outputs. Test the wrapper in a supported message field; it is not a command for changing the app’s default font.

Use WhatsApp message formatting or Unicode effects

Two different outputs

The style gallery changes characters using Unicode. Native message formatting instead puts markers around ordinary text: one asterisk for bold, an underscore for italic, a tilde for strikethrough, or three backticks for monospace. The helper makes those marked-up strings without replacing their letters.

Worked example

Enter Hello team. In Prepare native message formatting, choose Bold. The copied result is *Hello team*. Paste it into a WhatsApp message and inspect the formatting before sending. For more than one nonempty line the helper wraps each line separately. Choose Plain to copy without markers.

Keep identifiers and messages separate

The formatting markers are for messages; this does not mean they format every profile field or account identifier. Existing marker characters inside your text can interact with the surrounding markers. Do not use this helper as encryption or assume that a decorative string bypasses filters. The count is a Unicode metric rather than a verified WhatsApp length limit. See WhatsApp’s official message-formatting help for supported syntax.
