Text-lag simulator

Control stutters and delayed echoes independently of generic mark density. Change the text at the top of this tool to update both these effects and the quick-copy variations.

A copyable text simulation, not a real network delay.

What can you make with this tool?

Make a word stutter, duplicate alternate characters or show deliberate packet-like gaps.

Try it with your own text

  1. Enter Loading in the main text field.
  2. Compare Repeated start, Character echo, Packet gaps.
  3. Use the Copy button beside your chosen result, then paste it into the field where you need it.

What should you check before copying?

Stutter repeats the beginning of each word. Duplicate repeats selected characters, while Packet loss replaces some characters with gaps. These are visual patterns, not an actual connection test.

Make stuttering and repeated text deliberately

Use the stutter or duplicate modes to repeat parts of a word. This changes the characters in the message; it does not make a receiving app run slowly. The existing specialist controls adjust repetition and dropout patterns. Start with a short word, compare the plain and repeated versions, and keep important instructions in ordinary text.
