What can you make with this tool?

Compare block-like, scanline and pixel-inspired Unicode lettering.

Try it with your own text

  1. Enter Hello World in the main text field.
  2. Compare Pixel mono, 8-bit wide, Block noise, Normal, Monospace.
  3. Use the Copy button beside your chosen result, then paste it into the field where you need it.

What should you check before copying?

The copyable results are characters rather than a pixel image. Use the image generator when you need an actual graphic with fixed dimensions.

Create an actual pixel text PNG

Grid letters versus Unicode

The bitmap exporter draws each letter on an original five-column grid. The older copyable results above are Unicode styles; the PNG is a separate graphic. It supports A–Z, digits and spaces. Other visible characters become question marks, so review the preview before downloading.

Worked example

Enter PIXEL, choose scale 6 and letter gap 1, leave Transparent background checked, then download the pixel PNG. Each grid square becomes six image pixels. Change scale to 12 to double the export dimensions while retaining hard pixel edges. RGB split adds an offset colored accent rather than changing the spelling.

Using the result

Choose a short label: the exporter uses up to 32 visible characters. The dimension status reports the actual PNG size. Transparent output can sit over another image; solid output includes a dark background. Use whole-number display scaling where possible to preserve the grid. PNG is not editable as ordinary text, so keep your original wording and provide alternative text when the graphic conveys meaning.
